Meeting with Italian students

On the 22nd of June, our students had the opportunity to meet with Italian students from the town of Vicenza, who are on their internship programmes in Prague within the Erasmus+ programme. We had the possibility of sharing experiences and thoughts on a possible future cooperation within this programme. 

Visitors to Prague

On the 13 th of April students from the 2nd and 3rd years of high school took part in our School’s annual project ´Visitors to Prague´. This project tries to utilise the use of spoken English by interviewing tourists. It was an interesting experience that we all really enjoyed. We were divided into small groups of two to three people and we went around the historical centre of Prague, mainly the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. We met lots of interesting people from many countries. Our favourite tourists were from Kazachstan. They were really funny and cheerful. We are looking forward to doing this next year.

Discussion on the refugee crisis

On Tuesday the 8th of Dec. the students of years S2A and S1A got a chance to be a part of a debate about the current European refugee crisis. At first we discussed and shared our opinions with other students. After that we had the opportunity to ask some specialists questions. In the end we made a poster with everything we had learned. It was a very interesting experience.

Trip to Dresden

On 15th December some students from our school visited Dresden. We met in front of the school at 7:15 and we got to Dresden at about 10:20. We visited the museum of Hygiene, where you can see and learn interesting facts about the human body, venereal diseases and giving birth.
